I wouldnt want to save a shit for four months either.

Imagine that.

I'd rather Craig Forrest was between the sticks.

He's got an Allan McKnight vibe about him. Not QUITE that bad, but he's not filling me with confidence whatsoever

Bubbles Cyprus,

I heard about this keeper a while back. Think he ended up at Crawley! Top club they are!

22 league game run for randolph s hardly game for game changing

Backing the goalkeeper is fair enough, but why not backing Adrian when he went through a bad run?

Slaven is starting getting on my nerves.

I must admit i wont be upset if he is replaced in the summer.

As you can see there's a fair few other keepers there too - fabianski is second, boruc, Forster, loris and mannone are there too. You'd expect every keeper to make one or two in a season I think - it's the nature of the position, much like you'd expect every striker to miss a simple chance at some point.

The list doesn't include the 'should have done better' moments, which I think would see Randolph way out in front. Also, interestingly, for all the clamour made about bravo not saving a shit for four months or something stupid, he's not officially made 2 tickets to make the list - so it's clearly not a brilliant indication of the overall competency of a keeper, but those 4 mistakes have cost us a fair few points And seeing as Adrian was dropped after doing it once against stoke, bilic seems to be biased with no basis towards a keeper who leaks goals whenever he plays

Re: Randolph to stay in goal
So, is the way to give a keeper confidence telling him no matter how many mistakes he made he's in the side for the next game?

Good luck with that Slaven...

Admiral Lard 6:16 Mon Apr 17
Re: Randolph to stay in goal
He is a good keeper but he is in a massive rut currently. He was 100% to blame for both Sunderland goals and looks very short of confidence.
The only reason to keep him in the side must be that Adrian is on his way in the summer and we seem reasonably safe

He backed him before the Sunderland game too.

Fair play to Slav backing our goalkeeper, might be the confidence boost the lad needs.

Good Mate of mine's son had a trial as a GK with us and 3 other Top Clubs said the worst trial out of the 4 was ours.Dad is a Brit his Mum is Norwegian and I did advise them to drop the double barrelled name but they said Karren Brady loved it so he stayed as Martenson-Hickman cannot see the Club Shop selling to many shirts with all those letters to personalise it !!

Re: Randolph to stay in goal
Kind of worried that he has set this up. We almost never do well versus Everton and with how we are playing at the moment? Hmmm.
Replace Randolph with Adrian and see us heavily defeated may play right into his hands.
Why he would want this, I have little or no idea but much as Randolph was to blame on Saturday, his defence has been bereft of ideas and utterly talentless - though his lack of command of the area may explain much of this.

I've stood by Bilic, but if he did say that, and there's not some other element at play (to do with Adrian), then he's lost the plot. Randolph is an absolute liability.

Almost certain that Randolph will play against Everton going his comments.

Bilic needs to be replaced. Its pretty obvious

Re: Randolph to stay in goal
Also could damage Randolph's career further by keeping him in the firing line. His confidence looks shot now so imagine the pressure on him next game. No room for any errors at all.
Poor management on so many levels.

Plus Bilic has already humiliated us enough against Tottenham this season with his player selections.

Re: Randolph to stay in goal
Sir Alf 12:47 Mon Apr 17 - fair play.

This 'matesy' culture is fucking ruining our team. Look at the REALLY great managers, the word you kept hearing from Man Utd players about Ferguson wa 'respect'

They probably hated the cunt because he was continually pushing them out their comfort zone but it is what is necessary in a job that pays you £6m a year.

If Bilic starts Randolph again next game he will lose the tiny amount of respect he has left, surely? He seems to be making his position untenable? Maybe he's had enough and just don't care anymore? Either way, if he starts Randolph again he needs putting out of his misery. Can you imagine what Tottenham will do to our defence and Randolph? It will be total humiliation.

hornchurchsteve 4:07 Mon Apr 17
Re: Randolph to stay in goal
Keep it up bilic. At this rate you will be definitely gone at the end of the season. How can he come out with comments like that. Everyone knows Randolph is fucking useless except for this cunt.

13 Brentford Rd 3:56 Mon Apr 17
Re: Randolph to stay in goal
I think oppo players know that if they stand in front of him ir back into him when crosses come in he is weak. As a keeper you need to be strong and command your 6 yard box and pen area.
Randoloh’s positioning is terrible, rooted to his line at corners and is unable to jump or move it seems if there is even one player in front of him let alone lots as v WBA.
His jump for the 2nd on Sat was again hindered by an opponent and he looked awkward and weak. This tactic is now part of the game and he simply can not deal with it.
